The BMC has unveiled a series of initiatives under its health budget of Rs 7,380.4crore, with a key focus on ward-wise comprehensive cancer care through a public-privatepartnership (PPP) model.The budget reflects a 2.63% increase from last year's estimate of Rs7,191.2 crore, though revised figures for the previous fiscal stood at Rs 6,350.5 crore. Of thetotal, Rs 2,172.7 crore is revenue expenditure and Rs 5,207.7 crore is capital expenditure. Theallocation is also 10% of the total budget of Rs 74,427 crore.
