White Paper |
The WHITE PAPER aims to provide factual information on various Issues concerning the Constituencies of the elected representatives ( The Member of Parliament MP , The Member of Legislative Assembly MLA and Municipal Councilor). Based on the issues, the constituencies and the performances of the elected representatives, we have so far brought out two White Papers.
These reports are by no means a criticism of the system; in fact they are meant to act as red flags for citizens as well as their elected representatives to take cognizance of the real issues and not miss the trees for the woods, so to speak. Indeed, these White papers – or more aptly, Red Flags – ought to galvanise the citizenry as well as ERs to take up cudgels on behalf of their constituencies to force the administration to solve the problems. Praja plans to regularly bring out “WHITE PAPER’S” to empower and inform the citizens to become more active in the process of Democracy in India.
