Opinion about hospitals
The hospital
have been assessed on the basis of only those citizens who visited
them at least once. Of the 8 municipal hospitals on which opinions
were sought, K.E.M. and Kasturba Hospital emerge as the best hospitals
and Bhagwati and Rajawadi as the worst. Insufficient beds appear
to be a common problem shared by all hospitals. While evaluating
the hospitals, around 15% of the respondents could not hazard a
guess about services like ‘the number of beds in the hospital’ and
‘the quality of equipment’. The hospitals have been assessed
on the basis of only those citizens who have visited them.
